Police arrest six for running flesh racket, kidnapping 14-year-old girl

The Delhi police arrested six people, including two women, for allegedly running a flesh racket in Mathura and kidnapping a 14-year-old girl. The six-member gang allegedly lured and kidnapped the minor and sexually exploitated her by injecting sedative drugs. The girl was rescued from Mathura within ten hours.

The accused have been identified as Jubid, Ravi, Ram Khilwan Gupta, Sunny, Pooja and Bimla and all of them have been arrested.

On April 23, police received information at PS IP Estate that a 14-year-old girl was kidnapped, following which an investigation was launched to rescue the girl.

The victim had called her brother from an unknown number, seeking help, which provided police with further clues to crack the case.

Police swung into action and conducted a raid and traced the location of the phone. It was found that the call was made from OYO Hotel at Koshi Kalan in Mathura where the victim was found in a room on the ground floor.

Police rescued the minor and arrested two people, Jubid, a resident of Mathura, and Ravi, a resident of Palwal in Haryana, who were operating the hotel on rent. Further police interrogation revealed that 29-year-old Ram Khilawan Gupta had brought the victim to New Delhi.

Later on, a police investigation found that Sunny, a resident of Delhi, and sister Pooja were also part of the gang and they had sold the victim to Gupta for merely Rs 10,000 for four days.
